Frames Host
Steve King is a photographer, and educator living in Los Angeles California. His work is focused on modern and contemporary architecture and design. While most of his work is from the Southern California region, he has also worked and photographed worldwide, most notably in Norway. His work has been widely published in the architectural press and he has been included in many books including the recent “Hollywood Modern” by Michael Stern and Alan Hess. He has received AIA awards for his photography of Nakahouse by XTEN Architecture and in 2017, he won 2 “Architectural Photography Awards” from the Los Angeles chapter of the AIA. Steve received a Bachelors degree in Economics from Oregon State University in 1986, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from CSU Fullerton in 1990, and has been teaching photography, art, and design courses at the university level since 1990.
